Reading:
This week we will be learning about
making predictions and predicting
outcomes while reading Mrs. Brown
Went to Town. We will also
be practicing long vowel sounds for
a and i in words with a "magic e" (face)
(shine).
Writing:
During writing we will be working on
our first Narrative Procedure of
"How To" for the year.
Students will be choosing something
to write about in which they explain
the steps needed to do or make
something.
Math:
In math we will continue working on
adding 2 facts, and learn adding
three facts.
Social Studies:
Science:
We will continue to work on the
concepts of our living, nonliving,
and dead and the properties of each.
We will also be caring for and
observing our milkweed bugs and
mealworms. A review sheet will
be sent home this week.
Other Important News:
School will be dismissed early on
Friday October 10th. There is
no school on Monday October 13th in
observance of Columbus Day.
