Each week your child will bring home a list of spelling words on Monday. 

We will have a spelling test every Friday morning on the words for the week.  If there is no school scheduled for that Friday we will have our test on Thursday.  If school is cancelled or closes on Friday we will have the test the following day that school is in session.

On weeks that have three or less days scheduled we will not have a spelling test.

The number of words for each test will vary depending on the skill that they are focusing on.  Your child will be expected to spell both the basic spelling words and challenge words on the test.

Please help your son or daughter practice these words at home so they are confident and prepared on Fridays.
