| FLAT Stanley Ideas (Jeff Brown) 1) Each child sends a letter to a family member out of state, with "Flat Stanley" enclosed. They are asked to take him with for a day or two and complete and return the 'fill in the blank' letter to tell us about Stanley's travels. He's come back married, with pics of his wedding and honeymoon, and came home with Flat Spot, his dog. We mark on the map where Stanley's been. 2) Kite book reports. 3) What could Stanley take in an envelope? Discuss size, thickness, etc. 4) There are several worksheets available (somewhere) with comprehension, etc. They also include some of the other Flat Stanley books. |
