Hello! My name is Christine
Merry and I will be your third grade teacher.
I am
looking forward to a fantastic school year.
My family and I live in Massena, where I grew up. I am
lucky to be married to an amazing man named Mike. He is a
wonderful father to our two children. Our son Maddox is
twelve and our daughter Mikenna is eleven. They keep us very
busy. Maddox plays football, hockey and baseball. Mikenna plays soccer, hockey and baseball. There is never
a dull moment at our house...or the arena, football field,
soccer field or baseball diamond :o)
I received
my bachelor's degree in elementary education(N-6) from
Plattsburgh State in 1992. After graduating I had various
jobs including: substitute teacher, 1997 class advisor, student
council advisor, jv girls softball coach, tutor as well as
several retail jobs. In December of 1999 I received my
master's degree in instructional technology and media
management. Education is very important to me.
Technology is the future, a future that I want to be a part of
and a future for which I try to prepare my students.
