Parents FAQ's

Should I correct my child's sound errors during normal conversation?

You can correct your child's sound errors by providing the correct model of  the word when you hear you child use the the word.  ex. (Child) I want my tup. (Parent) Yes, you can have your cup.

Can listening to a MP3 player too loud damage my child's hearing?

Yes, extended exposure to loud sound can cause varying degrees of hearing loss.  An excellent website http://www.listentoyourbuds.org/  can help your child understand what appropriate sound levels are safe through various online games.  The site also offers information for parents to help understand and monitor appropriate use of MP3 players and similar devices.
