Mrs. Wells

I am a 1996 graduate from Salmon River Central School.  I joined the Army before graduating and left in September of the same year for Basic Training in Ft. Jackson, SC.  I completed Basic Training in November 1996 and moved to Ft. Gordon, GA to train for my job as a communication specialist.  My first permanent duty station was at Ft. Hood, TX.  I remained in Texas for 13 months and was able to travel and explore that part of the country.  While stationed in Texas I discovered my desire to teach through an outreach program at a local school adopted by my unit.  After leaving Ft. Hood, TX, I went to Kitzingen, Germany.  While there I had the opportunity to see many places throughout Southern Germany, including Munich, Triberg (the Blackforest), and Dacchau Concentration Camp.

After leaving the Army in 2000, I began working towards my college degree in teaching.  I attended SUNY Potsdam earning a BS in Early Childhood Education (Birth- Gr. 2) and a MS in Special Education (Gr.1 - Gr.6)  After graduating from SUNY Potsdam, I was a substitute for a year at Salmon River Central School and FEH BOCES.  I am currently beginning my third year at the St. Regis Mohawk School.  I greatly enjoy working with the staff and students at the St. Regis Mohawk School.

My husband, David and I live in South Bombay with our 2 girls, Cady and Emily and our 2 cats, Ariel and Rose Crystal Sparkle.  We enjoy spending time together watching movies and reading.  In my spare time I enjoy doing a variety of crafts which include cross-stitch, sewing, scrapbooking, and quilting.
